During my exposure time of around 0:45 seconds, standing in a ground fog that can only be described as dense, I realized I was surrounded. Coyote, Eastern Coyote were 20 or perhaps 30' feet away on my perimeter, I couldn't see them, they were in the fog. As it was, I could only make out the rake of the barn roof, a black, moisturized outline given texture by the moons china lamp glow. Standing still the cable release plunged, counting off Mississippi's and listening to their movement in the grasses. A band singing about the roadkill further down the way, the midnight floorshow show was over.
