Crappy Day On Nine Intersections Looking South from Ainslie Street, Brooklyn, NY, 1999
nine selenium toned silver gelatin prints
17 x 274" framed
1999

Such a sorry mid winter Sunday morning where the air was warmer than the ground, walking the entire length of Ainslie Street, stopping in the middle of every intersection from Rodney St, to Keep St, to Union Ave, to Lorimer St, to Leonard St, to Manhattan Ave, to Graham Ave, to Humboldt St and finally Bushwick Ave always facing South, always taking one photo on the roll of 120 film... Nothing had changed yet. It was so quiet.
